How it works
Winterized in about 20 minutes
Water left in your lines expands when it freezes and cracks pipes, heads and backflow valves. A blowout pushes it all out with compressed air.
- 1
Shut off & isolate
We close the irrigation supply valve so no new water enters the system.
- 2
Hook up the compressor
Our tow-behind commercial compressor connects at your blowout port or backflow.
- 3
Blow out every zone
We cycle each zone from the controller, blowing until heads spit mist — not water.
- 4
Drain the backflow
Test cocks are opened and left at 45° so the backflow can’t crack in a freeze.
- 5
Set controller to off
We leave your controller in off/rain mode so nothing runs all winter.
